49ers beat Bucs to win 4th straight

The San Francisco 49ers beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 33 – 14 to win their 4th straight game. The 49ers are now 10-4 going into the final two games of the season. The win puts the 49ers at 8 – 0 this season versus teams with a record below .500.

The offense played fairly well, but was inconsistent in the 2nd half. Kaepernick was 19 for 29 for 203yds and 2 TD’s while also rushing for 39 yards. Vernon Davis was the leading receiver with 5 catches for 79yds and a 52yd TD reception. Frank Gore was the leading rusher with 86yds. The defense was dominant as usual, allowing only 183 total yards to the Bucs . Eric Reid had his 4th INT of the season in the 4th quarter. Phil Dawson hit 4 more FG’s to extend his franchise record streak to 24 consecutive FG’s made.

In the 1st half, Jim Harbaugh challenged a pass that was ruled incomplete as a fumble and lost what seems like his 100th consecutive challenge, Jim needs to keep the challenge flags in his pocket and stop listening to Eric Mangini.  Mangini was the person responsible for Harbaugh’s two horrible challenges in the New Orleans game, and is a “Special Offensive Assistant”, offensive is the right word when you look at Harbaugh’s track record on coaches challenges this season.

In a lesser known but highly touted stat by FOX, the 49ers are now 5 – 0 when Jim Harbaugh’s foot attire is cleats vs 5-4 when he wears sneakers. Keep the cleats Jim! They are taking this team to Super Bowl title #6. In depth analysis of the game to come later today.
