3-6 isn’t where the Cardinals expected to be at this point, but back to back wins without Kevin Kolb have them playing with a confidence they haven’t had all year.
The offense is ranked 22nd in the league averaging 20.3 points a game. Kevin Kolb has missed the last two games and is very questionable for Sunday’s game, but when he has played he’s thrown eight touchdowns and eight interceptions. John Skelton has filled jn nicely leading the team to consecutive wins. Last week he passed for 315 yards and three touchdowns in a 21-17 win over Philadelphia. Beanie Wells is having his best season so far with 588 yards and seven touchdowns. Larry Fitzgerald continues to play at an elite level despite the issues at quarterback. He is 6th in the league with 792 yards and has five touchdowns. Early Doucet has developed into a solid second receiver with 461 yards and four touchdowns.
Defensively the Cardinals are also ranked 22nd allowing 23.7 points a game. Calais Campbell is leading the team with five sacks. Daryl Washington leads the linebacker corps with 55 tackles and one interception. Patrick Peterson is having an excellent rookie season with two interceptions and three punt returns for touchdowns.
