The Redskins jumped out to a 3-1 start to the year, but a controversial QB change and season ending injuries to key players have them in the midst of a three game losing streak.
Offensively the team has only managed to score 20 points in the two starts John Beck has made since Rex Grossman was benched. Of course season ending injuries to TE Chris Cooley and RB Tim Hightower haven’t helped. Fred Davis has stepped in and played well in Cooley’s absence and the trio of Ryan Torain, Roy Helu, and the recently signed Tashard Choice will attempt to kick start the run game.
Like the offense, Washington’s defense has struggled in recent weeks giving up 56 points to Carolina and Buffalo. Despite these struggles, Brian Orakpo and London Fletcher are still having strong seasons and can still cause problems for opposing offenses.
